The City Council met in Regular Session in the Council Chambers; Mayor Dale Roberts called
the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.; City Clerk Ruby Miller called the roll and the following Aldermen answered to their names: Jim Sarnes, Portia Brown, Harold Palmer, Jim Stroh, Charles Campbell, Brenda Stadsholt & Don Bryant. Absent: Greg Cox. A quorum was present. Meeting taped. Attorney Blake Lindner was in attendance.
The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was repeated by City Officials and Guests.

REPORT Terry Svob reported there were None
newspaper stories with pictures
of Havana and Mason County.
Terry Svob reported City would None
be closing on 2 Ec. Dev. Loans
on Friday; Basement Rescue and
Sycamore Motel.
Mr. Svob reported that he only None
had 100 videos left and asked
for consensus from Council
on whether to order 500 or 1,000
videos. Price was $2.85 each
for 500; and $1.63 each for 1,000.
Consensus was to order the 1,000.
PUBLIC WORKS Jewel Bucy reported that the None
REPORT City has 614 new signs to put up.
FINANCE & Alderman Palmer asked for None
PURCHASING clarification of truck parking
on corner of Promenade and
Windsor. Discussion.
HEALTH & Alderman Stroh reported None
SANITATION the new Code Enforcement
Officer Melissa Johnson is
working with John Kachanuk
and Chief Kevin Noble on the
list of places to get cleaned up.
LICENSES Alderman Cox presented None
ORD. & LEGAL Ordinance #1306 the Prevailing
ORD.#1306 Wage Ordinance for 2009.
It will be on the next agenda
to be voted on.

PROPERTY & Alderwoman Brown reported the None
ZONING Lutheran Church sent a letter
requesting the use of the 100 N.
Pearl block for an event on 7/19.
Will put it on the next agenda.
PUBLIC SAFETY None None
PUBLIC WORKS Alderman Campbell asked Council Motion made by Campbell, seconded
approval to purchase a new tank by Stroh, to approve the purchase of
mower from FS for $6,900. the new M60 Tank Mower from FS
for $6,900.
