As a public service to the residents of Havana, the Havana Public Works Department will begin accepting electronic waste (E-waste) on the second Thursday of each month at the Waste Water Treatment Plant located at 1100 South 12th Street, from the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.  ELECTRONIC WASTE RECYCLING HAS BEEN SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. PLEASE CONTACT ONE OF THE FACILITIES LISTED BELOW FOR SERVICE. Our apologies for any inconvenience. Our provider chose not to renew our disposal contract due to cost.

This service is strictly for the residents of Havana.
Those living outside the city limits can drop-off E-Waste at any registered residential collection facility in Illinois. Registered residential E-Waste collection sites near Mason County are:
