Details: Citizen and Teacher of the Year Nominations are now closed. The Havana Chamber of Commerce annually presents its Citizen of the Year and Teacher of the Year awards to individuals recognized for outstanding service and achievements within the Community of Havana and to our students, present or past. Letters of nomination should be sent to the Havana Area Chamber of Commerce at P.O.Box 116, Havana, IL 62644 and should describe why the person deserves the honor. Our 2009 Teacher of the Year is Mr. Willard Roper and our Citizen of the Year is Mrs. Cindy Wolin
