Four area wineries will be the guests of the Havana Chamber of Commerce on Saturday, October 10 for Havana’s 2nd Wine Tasting event.
It will be held at the Gasline Lounge Sidewalk Cafe on Main Street from 1 pm to 7 pm. There will be food, music, and a recipe contest with prizes for the best appetizer and best dessert recipes that include wine as an ingredient.
The afternoon event will feature live music by Sally Weisenburg & the Famous Sidemen, Katie Bar the Door, and the Mason Dixies.
There will be a $10 entrance fee which will provide each visitor with a wine glass and eight tickets that will entitle them to free tastes of wine from the participating wineries. Visitors may also purchase a ticket to allow them to vote on their favorite recipe in the Cook Off event.
